The Lamborghini Centenario was clearly the star of the show as far as Lamborghini is concerned. A supercar that didn’t get as much attention was a blue Huracan Avio LP610-4.
Now, Lamborghini has in the past built a similar special edition model- it was called the Gallardo Tricolore that was built to celebrate the 150 anniversary of the unification of Italy paid homage to the Italian Air Force.
Lamborghini proudly presented yet another Italian Air Force-inspired special edition at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The Lamborghini Huracan Avio LP610-4 is basically a stock Huracan with different color scheme. Only 25o units will ever exist and can be ordered in colors derived from the Italian Air Force Academy’s coat of arm- Grigio Falco, Grigio Nibbio, Grigio Vulcano, Verde Turbine or Ble Grifo (seen here). The stripe can be had in matte grey or white depending on the base color. The interior is wrapped in black with contrast stitching to match the color on the stripe.
The internals of the Huracan haven’t been tinkered with. So, you have the same 5.2-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine that sits behind the driver’s compartment. The engine puts out 602 hp and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It’s an all-wheel drive version, just to clarify.
