Mercedes-Benz is all set to bring back its iconic 2-door convertible in the form of the 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL Roadster. The car was showcased at a private event on October 20, ahead of its formal debut later this year.
This leaked image is said to be from the same event. As you can see, the car is finished in a bright shade of red and is riding on black AMG wheels. Expect to see a Panamericana grille at the front with sleek headlamp clusters on either side. The SL will get a fabric top instead of a folding metal roof.
The new Mercedes-AMG SL Roadster is based on a completely new space frame that uses lightweight aluminium and fiber composites in its construction. Under the hood, the SL is likely to feature Mercedes’ 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

I am also very excited about this model . I’m curious how they have exactly presented. The red color does not look bad either.
