The Taiwanese authorities crushed a Lamborghini Murcielago in front of a large media gathering to make a point. Let me warn you, it ain’t for the weak-hearted.
Some say, the Lamborghini was illegally imported in to the country. While, there are also reports suggesting that the Murcielago had an improper licence plate. Whatever the reason, the exotic car is now destroyed beyond repair.
According to the law in Taiwan, an illegal import cannot be resold hence the only way to get rid of it, is to crush in completely. Sounds like a draconian law if you love supercars, but that’s the sad reality.
