Ferrari has officially revealed the F12 Berlinetta-based one-off that turned up at Daytona earlier this month. The Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione is a bespoke supercar commissioned by a wealthy collector in America who remains anonymous.
Ferrari has a tradition of building unique masterpieces for their most loyal customers. The latest SP275 RW Competizione is based on the F12 Berlinetta with an engine from the F12tdf. Thus, the 6.3-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine makes 769 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox which drives the rear wheels. Speaking of which, the Ferrari SP275 RW uses rear-axle steering also from the F12tdf.
While, official performance figures are yet to be disclosed, we can safely say that the SP275 RW Competizione could reach a top speed of at least 211 mph and hit 60 mph in 2.9 sec.
Aesthetically, the Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione borrows design cues from the 1960s 275 GT. Compared to the standard F12, looks have been toned down for a more softer appearance. The round grille and vertical head lamp clusters remind of the California T, while the only vents that stand out are the ones on the front and rear fenders.
Traditionally, the name of the owner and the price of a bespoke model like the SP275 RW is kept secret. That said, we believe a one-off like this would cost at least $1 million or there about.
