Ford will be building 500 Ford GTs in the first phase of production. It all started with an application process to select the first few lucky people to get production slot. Once the application was accepted, customers could place their orders.
In order to help customers spec their cars, Ford has sent out these special Ford GT order kits. The package comes in a bespoke carbon fiber box with a latch from the race car that won the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours.
Inside the box, Ford has provided authentic samples of the all the 8 standard exterior colors, interior leather and alcantara material samples along with six different rim options with caliper colors.
