Update: McLaren 720S launched at the Geneva Motor Show- Price, Specs, Performance details
A new image of the upcoming McLaren P14 has surfaced on the internet. The McLaren 720S teaser image shared by Autogespot reveals the rear clam shell and active wing of the 650S replacement.
The new McLaren will be launched at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. That said, few select customers will be given early access to the new Super Series model next month. The car will be on display in New York and Los Angeles at a private preview event. Meanwhile, rest of us will be getting our fair share of teasers and leaked images.
The replacement for the 650S was initially codenamed P14 and recently been referred to as the 720S after the performance output of the engine. That’s right. The McLaren 720S will be powered by an updated version of the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8. Some say, capacity might be increased to 4.0-liter in fact. Thus, peak output will be around 710 hp.
