Update: Dodge Demon showcased at 2017 NY Auto Show- Price, Specs, Details
As a build up to the launch of the most mental muscle car ever, Dodge plans to release a teaser a week for next twelve weeks or so. But, the following video might have just ruined their plans.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has leaked on the sets of Fast and Furious 8 or at least, that’s what it seems like. Looks closely and you might notice a few peculiar features on two vehicles parked in the background.
Both the Challengers have a different hood with a much bigger hood scoop compared to a Hellcat. Also, both cars sport a wide body kit as is expected on the SRT Demon. There’s even a small Demon logo on the front fender of one of the cars leading us to believe that this might well be the new Challenger SRT Demon.
The Dodge Demon will be more powerful than the Hellcat. That means, it will have more than 707 hp which even in muscle car terms is frankly insane. A recent teaser video reveals that the SRT Demon will be 200 lbs lighter than the Hellcat. More details are expected to come out in the following weeks.
