You might have watched the Vehicle Virgins video featuring a lime green Corvette Z06. Sadly, that very same car just crashed in to a tree on Huron River Drive west of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Vehicle Virgins’ Parker Nirenstein had once borrowed this Velocity Yellow Corvette Z06 from its owner who happens to be his close friend. It is not clear who was driving it at the time of the accident, however according to police reports, a 21 year old male and his 17 year old female friend were extracted from the wreckage by emergency crews.
The accident happened on May 27 at 11.30 a.m. The police also stated that the car was going too fast in a 35 mph zone when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree. The Corvette was completely destroyed upon impact. The occupants suffered broken bones but no life- threatening injuries.
An eyewitness reported that she heard the car accelerating around the bend followed by a loud crashing sound. She later discovered the wrecked into a tree.
