Of late, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is the talk of the town. More so, for its 707 hp HEMI V8 engine that dwarfs all the other muscles cars on sale out there. One manufacturer that is feeling the pinch is Ford who have just come out with the new Mustang. Ford Racing and Roush Performance have joined forces to spice up the Mustang with some performance upgrades to make it more competitive. This announcement was made at the 2014 SEMA show.

The stock 2015 Mustang GT has a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 435 hp. That’s not it. Now, Ford Racing is offering bespoke kits for the 2015 Mustang that will bump the output up to over 600 hp. The performance package includes a supercharger kit from Roush Performance that bolts on to the 5.0-litre V8 and customers also get a limited warranty that Ford Racing and Roush offer on their parts.
