The day would have ended on a nicer note for the owner of this Veyron, if he hadn’t forgotten to brake after accelerating to 208 mph. The driver who is also the owner of this $2 million Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse was taking part in a drag racing event at UK’s Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome. Youtuber LK Horizon filmed this video from the passenger seat as the Veyron blitzed past a Huracan before slamming into the crash barriers filled with water.
At impact, the Veyron was doing about 110 mph. While, the damage looks superficial, it won’t be cheap to repair. The carbon front bumper will have to be replaced along with the grille and headlamps. That said, the owner doesn’t seem too bothered as he was still talking about beating the Huracan after the crash.
