MINI Cooper S Race car

The MINI Challenge is a racing series with a long history. It is also one of the more affordable platforms for young guns looking to get into professional level motorsport. With the launch of the new MINI, Total Track turned their attention towards the new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-banger as part of the Gen-3 class of MINI Challenge.

XCAR got an exclusive look at the racing car wherein Nick got to drive it around Cadwell Park. This new machine is built around the friendly-looking MINI Cooper S. The interior is completely stripped off of all the unnecessary bits. The dashboard is a full race-spec thingy and the gearbox is sequential. The car rides on slick tires and has upgraded brakes. It is an all-out touring car that costs just GBP 30,000!
