Shelby will build you a custom aluminium bodied Series 2 for 850 grand!
The Shelby Series 2 was unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. It is the successor to the Series 1 and features the same body but overall weight has been reduced by 12%. Powering this sports car is either a small block or big block Ford V8. There’s nothing more American than a good old V8. The engine is bolted to an old-fashioned 5-speed transaxle.
Now, for those looking for a classic American sports car, Shelby will offer a custom aluminium body. At $850,000, it certainly doesn’t come cheap. For others, Shelby will offer a carbon fiber exterior that is likely to cost merely $350,000, as per reports. Only four cars will be built each year.
