A few days ago we brought you exclusive details about the Delage D12 hybrid supercar. We can now confirm that the car will be unveiled at the beginning of next week in California.
Entrepreneur Laurent Tapie is the person behind the resurrection of the Delage brand and the D12 will be its first new model in 66 years. As you know, technology has progressed quite a bit since a new Delage rolled off the production lines. Therefore, expect the D12 to be a 21st century hypercar.
According to the company, the Delage D12 will feature a hybrid powertrain. It will use a naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with an electric motor. The combustion engine is said to produce 900 hp, while the electric motor generates 330 hp for a total of 1,230 hp.
With that kind of performance, the D12 will be rubbing shoulders with hypercars like the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the Mercedes-AMG One.
