The Lamborghini Aventador SV was unveiled this year at the Geneva Motor Show. Historically, SV which stands for SuperVeloce has been the model designation for the most powerful, lightweight and the most advanced Lamborghini supercar. Unsurprisingly, the present generation Aventador forms the basis for the SV. The standard car has 700 hp from its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 but in the Aventador SV it makes 750 hp. Add to that a lightweight carbon fiber exterior and an aggressive bodykit, it looks spectacular.
Now, our friends over at Topspeed.com have imagined an open top version based on the Aventador SV. The Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster featured here is an artists rendering of how it might shape up. The removable roof section could be stowed away on a sunny day, allowing the V12 cacophony to reach unhindered into the driver’s cabin. With wind in the hair and 750 hp at ones command, an Aventador SV Roadster seems like an exciting proposition indeed.
