The first ever MAT Stratos Coupe is going up for auction. The car, which is inspired by the legendary Lancia Stratos could fetch anywhere between €700,000-900,000.
Chassis no. ZFFKZ64B000166472 is the first new Stratos Coupe produced and it’s one of just 25 cars. Add to that, this particular example is finished in the Alitalia colours with yellow wheels.
Manifattura Automobili Torino’s (MAT) new Stratos is based on a Ferrari 430 Scuderia. It has an all-carbon exterior, which makes it 50 kg lighter than the supercar it’s based on. Powering this beautiful machine is a 4.3-liter, naturally aspirated V8 engine that delivers 540 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque to the rear axle.
The base car of this particular car had 30,000 km on its odometer when its transformation began. It was finished in 2019 and was registered in Germany in the same year. Since then, the owner has clocked another 3000 km.
