Earlier this week, Bugatti released a video of the first prototype of the Chiron Pur Sport. German actor Matthias Malmedie was also invited to experience the new hyper sportscar first hand.
Matthias got a rare opportunity to ride along in the prototype, with Bugatti test driver Sven Bohnhorst at the wheel. With 1500 hp to play with, the Chiron Pur Sport builds up speed like no other hypercar. But, the Pur Sport is designed to attack corners. It has more downforce and lateral grip than the regular Chiron. It’s evident from the large fixed wing and the revised aero up front. Bugatti has gone to great lengths to save weight. Even the wiper blades are made from carbon!
We can see why Bugatti chose the Bilster Berg circuit to test the Pur Sport. The track seems quite technical with dips and undulations as well as swooping corners designed to test the limits of grip. Looking at the on-board shots, the Pur Sport looks so planted and eager to dart into corners.
