HPE700 Mustang

When Ford launched the 2015 Mustang, Hennessey Performance was among the first tuners to announce an upgrade package for the new pony car. HPE700 is a performance Mustang available today. In the following video, John Hennessey takes an HPE700 around a test track, demonstrating the immense potential of their supercharger setup and overall tune.

The Hennessey HPE700 is based on the stock Mustang GT with a 5.0-liter V8 engine. The tuning package includes a 2.9-liter Supercharger system, upgraded fuel injectors and HPE engine management calibration. The result is a Dodge SRT Hellcat- rivaling Mustang with around 700 hp and generating 632 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph in this car is claimed to be 3.6 seconds. As Hennessey demonstrates in the video, the HPE700 makes a great noise and achieves great speeds through the stock 6-speed manual transmission.

Previously, Hennessey published a video of a top speed run in the HPE700. The car managed to hit 195 mph on a test track making it one of the fastest Hennessey tuned cars around.
