Top Gear were presented with a rare chance to drive a Bugatti Divo. Of course, who in their right mind would turn such an offer down.
Deliveries of the Divo commenced last month. But, since Bugatti is building just 40 of these coachbuilt hypercars, finding an owner who is willing to let someone else drive his prized possession would be quite difficult.
Anyway, Top Gear did get behind the wheel of a Divo and apparently, the car is as easy to drive as a VW Golf. Except for the fact that you have a quad-turbocharged, 8.0-liter W16 pumping out 1500 hp just behind your back.
The Divo was not the only car that Bugatti brought along. There was also a gorgeous Type 35 – a car which Albert Divo drove to victory at the Mille Miglia twice. That’s also the reason why the video was shot in front of the old pit building of the legendary road course.
