The Essenza SCV12 is Lamborghini’s latest track toy. With only 40 cars destined for production, it will be a rare sight. But, at least you will be able to hear it when it pops up on a racetrack near you.
The Essenza SCV12 was developed in collaboration with Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse racing division and designed by Centro Stile. At its heart is a naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 830 hp thanks to the RAM air duct that feeds air to the engine. The sound it makes comes courtesy of a Capristo exhaust. The motor is paired with an X-trac sequential 6-speed gearbox. Just listen to it when the driver downshifts.
During the launch, Lamborghini’s CEO had stated that the SCV12 would offer the purest track driving experience. Well, with that fire-breathing V12 engine and that sound, it certainly can’t get any better.
