We’ve seen the McLaren 765LT do a sub-10 second quarter mile consistently. It has even set the fastest quarter mile time for a production car (non-electric) at a drag strip. But, the biggest question on everyone’s might right now is – can it beat the McLaren Senna?

The McLaren 765LT and the Senna are closely matched when it comes to power. Both have a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine. In the 765LT, it makes 755 hp and 590 lb-ft, but in the Senna, it puts out 789 hp, while the torque figure remains the same. Despite the lack of power, the 765LT is actually 0.1 second quicker to 60 mph than the Senna.
As you can see in the video, the 765LT destroys the Senna in a straight line. The best quarter mile time the Senna manages to post is a 9.85 second. The 765LT on the other hand, is in the 9.4s consistently.
