You may recall that we were the first to break the news about the two Lamborghini supercars planned for this year. We’ve already witnessed the first launch – the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae. While the Ultimae is the final version of the Aventador, the next car will be based on the Sian.
This year, Lamborghini is celebrating 50 years of the Countach, and the company has something special planned to mark this occasion. Our sources have told us that there is a Sian-based, Countach-inspired supercar in the works. If the latest rumors are to be believed, the car could be unveiled next month at Pebble Beach.

Here’s what we know about the Countach homage:
The car is likely to use the same 6.5-liter V12 powertrain with a 48 V mild-hybrid system from the Sian. The overall output is expected to be raised to around 820 hp.
We are told that production will be limited to just 112 units and the base price is said to be around €3 million.
We still haven’t heard much about its styling. However, we can expect to see a few design details borrowed from the iconic Countach. We wish Lamborghini would give the Countach homage pop-up headlights like the original.
