Last week, Koenigsegg released images of the pre-production Jesko Attack. Now, here’s a video of Christian von Koenigsegg explaining all the details of his new hypercar.
The pre-production Jesko is painted in Tang Orange Pearl, which is the shade of orange that was used on Koenigsegg CCR. ‘Attack’ is the name given to the high-downforce version, while ‘Absolut’ is low-drag configuration.
The Jesko is powered by a 5.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 that belts out 1280 hp on regular fuel and 1600 hp on E85. Peak torque is meaty 1106 lb-ft. The engine is bolted to a Light Speed Transmission (LST), which is claimed to be quicker than a dual-clutch transmission.
