A Lamborghini Aventador SVJ recently caught fire on a highway in Mexico. Unfortunately, the supercar burnt to a crisp, and couldn’t be saved as the blaze had engulfed it before help arrived.
At first, the car seems to be one of the rare Aventador SVJ 63s. However, it seems to be a regular SVJ with a 63 wrap. Either way, it’s always sad to see an exotic destroyed in such a fashion. As far as the condition of the occupants is concerned, reports suggest that the driver and passenger fled the scene after the accident.

The Aventador SVJ 63 was a limited edition of the SVJ. Only 63 of these were built. It was offered in special colours, liveries and interior trim options.
The SVJ 63 is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 759 hp @ 8500 rpm and 531 lb-ft of torque @ 6750 rpm. The supercar can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 217 mph.
