We live in a world where Ferrari is more than just a car maker. When you’re a child, the word ‘supercar’ implies Ferrari and vice versa. It is an adrenaline rush that petrolheads like me experience every time when we see, hear or talk about Ferrari.
For someone who has been driving them since 1969, these cars have a special place in their lives. Ferrari test driver Dario Benuzzi is one man who has seen driven them all. The Ferrari F40 was the first proper supercar. An automobile that broke the 200 mph barrier back in the 1980s.
Then came the F50. It was designed and engineered to drive and feel like an Formula 1 car and my god was it tricky to drive and perfect. The Ferrari Enzo has been the greatest supercar the company has ever produced. Now though, there is the hybrid LaFerrari that clearly excels at what you expect from a brand like Ferrari.
