What is Shmee150 up to lately? Well, after the curtains fell on the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Shmee150 has been planning a visit to Sweden. That should give you an idea as to what could be coming our way. Without further adieu, here’s Shmee150’s exclusive ride in a Koenigsegg One:1. Previously, we have seen numerous videos of the flagship hypercar from the Swedish supercar brand, that also included the first test drive ahead of Goodwood.
Koenigsegg’s new “megacar” was first showcased at the Geneva motor show and has been a topping of discussion since then. The car produces one megawatt of power and has one horsepower per kilogram of its weight. In other words, the Koenigsegg One:1 weighs 1341 kg and is powered by a 1341 hp engine. And it’s no ordinary engine. The twin-turbocharged V8 has been calibrated to withstand the loads and had to be as lightweight as possible. Koenigsegg’s test driver takes car out on their private runaway to demonstrate the potential of the One:1- 200 kph comes in no time and so does 300 kph with two flicks of the paddles.
