Sachin Tendulkar’s Custom BMW i8 on HRE Wheels

The “God of Cricket” now has a custom BMW i8. Sachin Tendulkar was the first Indian to own a BMW i8. Now, he owns India’s only custom BMW i8.

BMW’s revolutionary hybrid sports car was launched in India back in 2015. Tendulkar who is also the official brand ambassador for BMW India got the keys to the first BMW i8 in the country. It came with a ‘crystal white pearl metallic’ paint job straight from the factory. Sachin has not got it custom painted in a shade of red and a brand new set of custom HRE wheels in gunmetal finish.

The BMW i8 is a mid-engine sports car unlike any other. It uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic and other lightweight materials in its construction. The two-seater is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine and electric motors with a combined output of 357 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.
