Modern hypercars like the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Jesko cost around $3 million and will do 0-60 mph in about 2.5 seconds. If you want to beat one of these heavyweights, you need an electric hypercar like the Lotus Evija or Rimac C_Two. However, what if you could beat them in a Lamborghini Huracan?
AMS Performance has built a twin-turbocharged Huracan that can do just that. It recently set a world record at TX2K21. The car did 0-60 mph in 1.4 seconds! It went on to cross the quarter-mile marker in 7.40 seconds @ 189 mph.
The Alpha Omega Drag Huracan uses an AMS built engine and Alpha Stage 5+ DCT, Garrett G42 Turbos, Alpha Fuel System, and Alpha Billet Intake Manifold . It just kept going faster and faster The following times just show how the car was dialed in with every run.
Run 1 – 7.83 sec @ 175.9 mph
Run 2 – 7.77 sec @ 172 mph
Run 3 – 7.58 sec @ 187 mph
Run 4 – 7.50 sec @ 185 mph
Run 5 – 7.47 sec @ 189 mph
Run 6 – 7.40 sec @ 189 mph

That’s simply incredibly amazing. One question though, it it street legal and if so does that include the usa.?
