Aston Martin has given the AM-RB 001 hypercar a proper name. It’s called the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie is being co-developed with Red Bull Advanced Technologies as the next-generation hypercar. It has been designed by the famous F1 aerodynamicist Adrian Newey.
The hypercar codenamed AM-RB 001 was believed to be called ‘Nebula’. However, those reports have proved to be false now that we know its official name.
Scale model of the Valkyrie was showcased last year. Also, prospective customers were present for the unveiling. Since then, all 150 units of the Valkyrie hypercar have been spoken for.
Recently, Aston Martin confirmed the engine that will power their hypercar. Cosworth will be supplying the naturally aspirated V12 engine while Ricardo will built the seven-speed transmission for the vehicle.
