The Audi RS Q8 is yet to go on sale but it’s already making headlines.
The RS Q8 is the high-performance version of the Q8. It’s also safe to say that the RS Q8 is now the fastest production SUV to lap the Nurburgring.
The Audi RS Q8 has set a new lap record of the Green Hell beating the previous best by more than 7 seconds. It completed the lap in 7 min 42.253 seconds, beating the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63S’ lap time of 7 min 49.3 seconds.

As expected, the RS Q8 will feature a more sporty exterior. It has RS bumpers with large vents at the front and a diffuser at the rear. It is also expected to get a set of sporty alloy wheels. Powering the behemoth of an SUV is a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine, which could churn out somewhere around 592 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
The Audi RS Q8 will make its debut on November 20 and is likely to be presented at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show.
