The Koenigsegg Regera was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. But, only recently have the first customer Regeras started rolling off the Angelhom factory in Sweden. We have seen seven Regeras already, including three prototypes and four customer cars. Two cars were recently delivered to their customers, while the two show cars from Geneva are currently awaiting shipment to their owners.
Now, the eighth Regera has been spotted at a fuel station outside Angelhom. It isn’t clear, if the car was a customer vehicle or a prototype. It could well be another prototype since it was sporting a provisional exhaust system with two circular pipes on each side instead of the Akrapovic made fin-style exhaust. Also, the entire rear bumper seems to be missing.
What is certain however is that the bare carbon fiber spec on the Regera combined with the turbine style wheels and red brake calipers looks sensational. So much so that it must be made the default spec on the car. Also, noticeable is the very “eccentric” exhaust note of the vehicle.
