Bentley has unveiled a new limited edition grand tourer called the Bacalar.

The Bacalar is based on the Continental GT but the similarities end there. The exterior is mostly made from carbon fiber and it doesn’t have a roof.

The Bacalar is designed by renowned coachbuilder, Mulliner. The design draws inspiration from the EXP 100 GT Concept. It has a low slung front grille flanked by oval headlamps and a redesigned front bumper. At the rear, the oval tail lights give way for slimmer LED units. The only bits that are common with the Continental GT are the door handles. The 22-inch wheels are also unique to this car. Inside, you get rare Riverwood trim, bronze highlights, leather and every possible material that screams luxury.

Under the bonnet is a 6.0-liter, twin-turbo W12 engine. It produces 650 hp and 667 lb-ft of torque. The motor is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Bentley claims that the car will hit 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph.

Bentley plans to built just 12 units of the Bacalar, each sporting a price tag of $1.91 million.
