Doug deMuro asked a bunch of fellow automotive enthusiasts a very simple question- “what is the best entry-level exotic?”
Well, that’s not exactly a simple question which becomes obvious when you start listening to “experts” on the show. It all starts with the McLaren 650S, Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan. Then, someone brings up the Alfa Romeo 4C which does not qualify to be a supercar but is an exotic nevertheless. The blue-eyed Matt Hardigree would rather have a 630 hp V12-powered Mercedes-AMG G65.
The problem here is the term “exotic” which needs to be defined properly to tackle such a question. My mom finds the BMW 3 Series exotic, which it really isn’t. So, do you call a rare, powerful and flashy car an exotic? Let us know what you think.
