A Bugatti Chiron was involved in an accident on the Gotthard Pass in the Swiss Alps. Videos posted on social media have revealed the extent of the damage caused to the hypercar and it ain’t pretty.
Reports suggest that the Chiron was following a 911 Carrera GTS. Just when the Bugatti driver pulled out to pass the car in front, the Porsche also moved out causing a collision. Apparently, both cars then hit a Mercedes, while the Bugatti careered into a motorhome.

The front end of the Bugatti was smashed in the accident. The Porsche also sustained substantial damage. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured apart from one person who was reportedly taken to hospital.

Following the accident, emergency crews had to close down the Gotthard pass for 3 hours. In the Instagram video you can see the Bugatti and Porsche being put on a flatbed.
