Last week Larry had the one-off Glickenhaus Ferrari P4/5 at this shop. This week, a $1.8 million Ferrari Monza SP2 paid a visit for some quick detailing and paint protection.
We love the Ferrari Monza, so much so that we would pick it over the other modern speedster, i.e. McLaren Elva and Aston Martin V12 Speedster. The one featured in this video is finished in a metallic green that looks rather classy. It has a silver stripe running across the hood and a matching roll hoop fairing. The carbon seats are wrapped in brown leather with a yellow prancing horse logo on the headrests.
Now, this is not the only green Monza out there. There’s a green carbon example with a gold stripe and matching wheels in the UK. It’s one of our favorite specs. This one here is a tad subtle compared to the UK registered Monza SP2.
As you might be aware, the Ferrari Monza SP2 is based on the 812 Superfast. It uses the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that makes 800 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 mph comes up in 2.9 seconds, and 124 mph comes up in 7.9 seconds.
