Dragtimes have been consistently churning out these videos with their Volcano Orange 720S for the past few months. This time around we have an 800 horsepower Dodge Viper ACR up against the Super Series McLaren.
The Mclaren 720S has now clearly established itself as the ultimate supercar. From making 775 horsepower on the dyno to humiliating almost every supercar including the Porsche 918 Spyder and the electric Tesla Model S in drag races, the supercar has been constantly surprising us.
But, how does it compare to the Viper ACR, you may ask. The not so modern, brawny American car that has set lap records at 13 tracks in the home country and more recently, completing a 7:01 minute lap at the Nurburgring on a crowdfunded run.

On paper, the McLaren 720S might seem down on power compared to the Viper featured in this race, but according to a recent dyno run, the 720S packs more power than what McLaren claims.
