Our sources have confirmed that the Aston Martin Valkyrie will go into production this summer. The first cars are expected to be delivered by mid-2021.
Aston Martin had a lot on the line when they decided to build the Valkyrie. Starting with the design of the car, which was nothing short of extraordinary. As we all know, Red Bull F1’s Adrian Newey was involved in the design process of the Valkyrie. But then, the project hit a massive hurdle. There were reports suggesting that the car was facing some general reliability issues. To make matters worse, Aston Martin reported a loss of $95 million in the first half of 2019 and there were rumors that the project could be shelved.
Fortunately, the company managed to secure funding and the company didn’t have to face the embarrassment of returning the deposits paid by customers. Not to mention, it would’ve been a massive PR disaster for the brand as well. But, that’s all in the past and we will get to see the awesome Valkyrie on the streets soon.

The Valkyrie is a joint project of Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing. It is powered by a Cosworth-built 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 and a Rimac-sourced KERS hybrid system that is good for 1176 hp. The engine is mated to a 7-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission.
While the Valkyrie may not set new top speed records, it certainly has the potential to destroy lap times.
