It is safe to say that the new Ferrari 488 GTB is 200 mph supercar. In fact, a video posted by rmitchell on Youtube tells a different story. The 488 GTB can do speeds well over 211 mph, given an open stretch of highway or better still, a de-restricted autobahn.

The Ferrari 488 GTB is the successor to the 458 Italia and is the first mid-engine, twin-turbo V8 powered Ferrari since the F40. The 3.9-liter V8 makes 661 hp and drives the rear wheels via 561 lb-ft of torque. An blisteringly quick 7-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures the supercar reaches 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds and can to some serious speeds given an open road.
