Last year, Lamborghini debuted the track-only Essenza SCV12. It’s the brainchild of Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse racing division and only 40 cars will be produced. The first one these has been delivered to Switzerland.
The owner of the very first Essenza SCV12 has gone with a dark theme that really suits the car well. The car is finished in matte carbon with subtle yellow pinstripes and the number 63.
The Essenza SCV12 is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 830 hp thanks to the RAM air duct that feeds air to the engine. The motor is paired with an X-trac sequential 6-speed gearbox. The car has a power-to-weight ratio of 1.66 kg/hp. The car uses pushrod type suspension at both ends, Brembo brakes and rides on slick tires provided by Pirelli. It comes fitted with a Capristo exhaust right from the factory.
The SCV12 is based around a FIA homologated carbon monocoque. The aerodynamics were developed in collaboration with Dallara. The aero package produces 1200 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.
