Now as tradition goes, Ford brought the first Shelby GT350R to Barrett-Jackson auction held in Scottsdale, Arizona. The VIN #001 Shelby GT350R Mustang was sold for a record $1 million with all proceeds going to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
