We finally get to see the new Ford GT driven flat-out on the Autobahn. We’ve been waiting for this video ever since AutoTopNL reviewed it on their channel.
In this video, you will see the GT put through some acceleration tests on a derestricted Autobahn. The reviewer accelerates the car from 0-62 mph and also from standstill to 124 mph. The driver also tests out the launch control system on the GT, before sprinting to 182 mph.
As you know, the 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine in the new GT makes 660 hp. The engine is hooked up to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ford claims it will hit 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and flat-out it will hit 216 mph.
