As promised earlier by GM, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 prices start under $60,000. Top of the line 3Lt model will cost more than $80,000 once customization comes into play.

The manufacturer has kept its word and by attaching a price tag of $59,995 to the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 1LT base model, GM is super-confident of setting the sales charts on fire. The 2LT adds more creature comforts and features at a price of $67,295 and the 3LT will cost its customers $71,945. All numbers are from the Chevy site and include the $1,095 destination charge.

Chevrolet has nailed the pricing aspect as the 2020 model is not much pricier than its predecessor from 2019. There is also the $5,000 Z51 performance pack which gifts the Corvette C8 in any trim with an additional 5 hp and 5 lb-ft along with Brembo brakes, rear spoiler, Michelin PS4 summer tires, electronic limited-slip differential, front splitter, performance exhaust, and FE3 performance suspension.

Here are some of the options on the list that are worth checking out. The $1,495 front lift-kit system for the 2LT and 3LT, the performance exhaust which offers 5 hp boost without the whole Z51 pack’s range of good stuff, and the FE4 magnetic ride control suspension which can be added at $1,895 along with the Z51 pack.

While the 3LT in its “basic” form tops the price list at $72k, once you start ticking the options on the customization menu – wheels, roofs, brake caliper colors, racing stripes, metallic exterior trim accents, seats, seatbelt colors, carbon-fiber trim packs, steering wheel trim, engine appearance packs – and before you know, the price will drive past $80,000.
