Could this be the first Lamborghini Urus spy shot? Pro-Street spotted this SUV on the streets of Denmark recently. It does look like a prototype of the upcoming Lamborghini SUV and here’s why we think it might be one.
It seems like prototypes of the Urus might already be on the roads, as this spy shots suggests. Look closely and the distinct tail light design is similar to the one seen on the Urus concept. Another feature to note is the raked roofline and the angular wheel arches. Also note the Huracan-style quad exhaust.
Lamborghini boss confirms the Urus
Lamborghini CEO, Stefano Domenicali recently confirmed that pre-production testing of the Urus will commence in April. The production version of the premium off-roader is expected to debut at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show.
The Lamborghini Urus will be based on VW Group’s MLB platform. It will share its underpinnings with the Cayenne and Aud Q7. Moreover, the Urus will drive like a Lamborghini and lightweight materials like carbon fiber will be extensively used in its construction.
