Jaguar has released a video of the brand new F-Type Project 7. This is the car that will be unveiled in front of the fans at 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The annual automotive event that kicks off this weekend will play host to the first production-spec Jaguar F-Type Project 7. It is the brainchild of the newly commissioned Specials Vehicle Operations at Jaguar and is also the most powerful Jaguar sports car ever.
The company will just 250 examples of this utterly beautiful speedster, making it quite rare and thus special. The engine that resides under the gorgeous body is special too. It is a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 producing 575 horsepower- which is 25 more than the most powerful F-Type R Coupe. Thanks to the immense power, 0-60 mph is over in just 3.8 seconds while top speed is limited to 186 mph. As is with all Jaguars, the thunderous sound from the exhausts is unmistakable.

Jaguar has also fitted the F-Type Project 7 with other go-faster bits like torque vectoring and an electronic active-differential at the rear axle. Carbon bits adorn the exterior of the car. The brakes too are carbon ceramic and those would come as standard fitment.
