Comedian, actor Jerry Seinfeld was spotted in his Porsche 918 Spyder in California recently. The host of ‘Comedians in Cars getting Coffee’, Seinfeld once owned a Carrera GT and a rare Porsche 356 as well. The hybrid Porsche 918 Spyder is his latest acquisition.
The Porsche 918 Spyder replaces the old Carrera GT supercar. It uses a combination of internal combustion and electric motors effectively making it an all-wheel drive. The combined output of the powertrain is 887 horsepower and 940 lb-ft. The car has a top speed of over 200 mph and can complete the sprint from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds.
Seinfeld may sold off his V10 powered Carrera GT, but his love Porsche‘s is till alive. The man owns a list of unique and classic sports cars built by Stuttgart. His collection includes a 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder which was also one of Steve McQueen’s favorites, a highly exclusive Porsche 959 supercar and a 911S from the movie Le Mans.
