A few days ago, leaked patent images revealed a new Ferrari supercar. It looks like Maranello could be preparing a special edition LaFerrari for its 70th anniversary. Now, Peisert Design has imagined a Maserati MC12 successor based on this concept and it looks fantastic!
The direction in which Ferrari design is headed is pretty clear from the patent images. The supercar in the images does seem like a re-bodied version of the LaFerrari. But, a Maserati MC12 successor based on the 70th anniversary LaFerrari is highly unlikely.
As you know, the Maserati MC12 was based on the Enzo. A replacement for the MC12 almost due fueling rumors of possible successor. There’s no word from Maserati yet. Not even a hint. That’s why we will have to keep guessing, at least for now.
