Ever since Lamborghini stopped accepting orders for the Aventador, we’ve been waiting for news on its replacement with bated breath. Today, thanks to Varryx, we can share the first video of the Aventador successor.
The test mule of the Aventador successor was spotted inside the Lamborghini factory. The heavily camouflaged mule might look familiar, as it features the iconic wedge shape. However, the new model has been built from the ground up.
Looking at this prototype, it seems like Lamborghini will be retaining the hexagon design theme. The test car has hexagonal wing mirrors and exhaust tips. It also appears to have a vent behind the front fender.
Lambo’s new supercar is expected to be based on an all-new platform. Reports suggest that the car will use a completely new V12 engine. However, unlike the outgoing model, the Aventador successor will be a hybrid.
Lamborghini is expected to unveil its next-gen supercar early next year.
