The Lamborghini Huracan didn’t just succeed the Gallardo. It turned out to be a bigger success.
The Lamborghini Gallardo is one of the best-selling cars in the Italian carmaker’s history. 5 years ago, it got replaced with the Huracan and now the latter has crossed the 14,000-unit production milestone.
Chassis number 14,022 got the glory of being featured in the promotional pics released by Lamborghini PR. The supercar finished in Grigio Titans shade is bound for a customer in Korea.
The naturally-aspirated V10-powered took half the time Gallardo did to reach the aforementioned sales figure. Lamborghini gives credit for the Huracan’s phenomenal sales to the V10 powertrain’s appeal, the enhanced production process, and the availability of more variants which contributed to the increase in demand.
Lamborghini will be keeping the Huracan alive for some more years since the desirable machine’s popularity is still raking in exceptional sales. More variants can be expected in the near future as the Huracan soldiers on.
The carmaker has had a strong 2019 so far, with 4,553 cars delivered to customers and the Huracan accounted for 1,211 units.
