The 2021 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este was recently held on the shores of the picturesque Lake Como in Italy.
This year, it was all about hypercars from the 1990s. The line-up included the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR and Porsche 911 GT1. There was the F50 and F40 from the Ferrari stable, a Bugatti EB110 SS, a Lamborghini Countach, and even an Isdera Commendatore 112i. However, it wouldn’t be a 90s hypercar show without the legendary McLaren F1.
In this video, you can see the F1 start-up its 6.0-liter V12 engine. This BMW-built motor produces 618 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, which drives the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
And, when it was time to head out for the parade, the McLaren F1 stormed out in a flamboyant manner. Clearly, this F1 is no garage queen.
