Volvo has revealed the all-new Volvo XC90 ahead of its formal launch. The flagship SUV of the Scandinavian brand has been in the news for some time now as Volvo began releasing details about the XC90 over past few weeks. This is a brand new generation of the all-terrain family SUV which is now based on a Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA) which can accommodate the new Drive-E engines along with a plug-in electric, hybrid and even a high performance powerplant.

The new Volvo XC90 will have all-wheel drive hardware with the latest software. The new Volvo SUV also aims to be the next safest Volvo in the line of other benchmark products the Swedes are known for. The interior of the new XC90 has been completely overhauled with a brand new looking dashboard with fine materials and a new-look steering wheel and driver cockpit. The floating center console is gone, making way for a conventional yet brilliantly stylish interior. The exterior design of the car is both functional and has a fresh look, never seen before on a Volvo.
