Excitement is high as Ferrari gears up to reveal its second Icona model on November 15, 2021. Of course, you and I will get to see the car a week later, as this will be a private event. Like the Monza, the new car will also be produced in limited numbers.
But, exactly how many? That’s the question on everyone’s mind.
According to the latest reports, Ferrari is likely to cap the production of the next Icona supercar to 700 units. That’s almost 200 units more than the Monza.
Unlike the Monza SP1 and SP2, the new model will be more track-focused. For starters, it will be based on the LaFerrari Aperta and is inspired by the iconic 330 P4.
We also know that Maranello’s new supercar will be powered by the same engine as the 812 Competizione. The 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 830 hp @ 9250 rpm and 510 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm.
